Soaking up the Southern sun!

Time to chill!

WHAT an unforgettable week a lucky 10 of us had exploring the reefs of Southern Egypt at the start of September.

We stayed at two eco resorts; first up was Marsa Shagra before we headed further south to the calm of Wadi Lahami and its beach tents and chalets.

Although we didn't see any of the big stuff, we were all amazed at the abundance of marine life at the quieter of the Red Sea's reefs.

The quality house reef at Marsa Shagra proved a firm favourite, as did our dives at Elfinstone. And as we headed down to Wadi Lahami, we were greeted by water temperatures of 30 to 32c - quite something, even for Egypt!

"One of the best things about this trip is the chance it gives you to chill," David said.

"Nevermind deciding which restaurant to eat at after a day's diving, at Wadi Lahami you don't get to decide what you eat, or when, let alone where! Everything is done for you, taking all of the choice, and all of the stress, far away. It's a fantastic place."

We hope to be back in 2011 - should there be space in our already busy calendar!

If it's a trip that takes your fancy, register your interest now and if the demand is there, we'll schedule a trip!
