WE'LL be running our very first Side Mount Course in March.
Side mount diving offers divers the opportunity to extend their range by carrying additional air (or gas) supplies without the complexity and discomfort associated with conventional back mounted twin set dive configurations. Evolving from cave diving the configuration also presents the smallest profile and offers perfect balance to recreational divers. We don’t dive deep but we can dive long in great comfort and with safety.
During the course students will learn the fundamentals of preparing their dive equipment for sidemount diving and gain practice in water entry and exit alongside the development of safety drills and advanced dive techniques.
The course will start with a classroom session and equipment workshop on March 8th, followed by four open water dives on March 12th and 13th.
