WE had a rather busy two nights in December when a group of 30 Warwick scouts joined us in the pool for our scuba experience programme.
Over the course of each evening the enthusiastic youngsters progressed from taking their first underwater breaths to competently swimming near the bottom of the deep end.
We provided the usual fun and games, from underwater hoops and toypedos to what is always the popular activity, the inverted egg and spoon race where students are challenged to swim while keeping a ping pong under a spoon.
ScoobaBoosta looks forward to running more scuba experience programmes for school and scout groups during 2010.
We also hope to get a weekend pool session underway in south Coventry specifically aimed at youngsters who want to have fun and/or learn to dive.
