New challenges for the Seal Team!

Hard at work!

OUR two well established Seal Teams at Rugby and Coventry continue to thrive with some new challenges just around the corner!

With night dives, search and recovery missions and a wreck dive around our replica of the Black Pearl, already under their belts, our youngest divers will move onto fish indentification in the coming weeks, as well as a lesson supporting PADI's Project Aware.

Phil is hard at work preparing for the fish i.d programme first of all, making mini fish models to be submerged in the pool!

The second aqua-mission will support Project Aware, PADI's movement to protect our oceans.

It will include a presentation and a chance for the young aquanauts to gets hands-on, retrieving a selection of "rubbish" strewn around the classroom and the pool to highlight just how hazardous our junk can be to wildlife - and just how long it takes to degrade.

Following loads of interest, we are planning to roll this Project Aware programme out to our older divers too, and to get some fund-raising off-the-ground, so watch this space!

And please spread the word our Seal Team will be launching in Stratford on September 3rd! A fun introduction to scuba for those aged 8+, the club costs £20 per month, payable by standing order, to include 8 pool sessions a year.
