WE start the new year with a bang, and a UK first.

 

Yes, we’re proud to announce that ScoobaBoosta has just become the very first dive centre in the country to be endorsed by the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme.

We’ve now become an Approved Activity Provider for the DofE programme and plan to roll out scuba training in local secondary schools throughout 2010.

Diving counts as not one, but two of the four modules that youngsters looking to achieve their Bronze Level DofE Award must complete.

Recognised as both a skill and a physical activity, our aim is to see successful students winning both of these modules, as well as PADI Open Water Diver certification.
