Announcing a new Red Sea destination

Wadi Lahami

It's a hard job but someone's go to do it.

Dave and Lynne are back from their week scouring southern Egypt for the very best dive destinations, and they unearthed a real gem ScoobaBoosta is proud to add to its holiday list for 2010, good work guys.

The 'research' started in Marsa Alam, or more specifically Port Ghalib, but a trip further south soon ensued in a bid to escape the strong northerly blow. Dave and Lynne quickly found themselves about as far south in Egypt as you can get, at the eco-resort of Wadi Lahami.

"It's about as laid back as you can get," Dave explains.

"A collection of tents backed by some more modern chalets lie on the beach, but with all the facilities youi need as a diver; dive boats, dive sheds, dive guides and a restaurant.

"We booked here for one night, stayed two and could have stayed forever."

What's more, the southerly resort takes in sites, such as the Fury Shoals, normally only accessible to liveaboards, all truly abundant with fish life and pristine corals.

ScoobaBoosta now plans to return to Wadi Lahami in Autumn 2010 and we'd love you to join us.

Details will soon be available in the shop, or you can give us a call for more information.
