IT'S hard to believe but of all our trips down to Porthkerris this year, it was October that won the best of the weather, a fine finale to the UK coastal diving season.
We headed down to Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula over the neap tide weekend of October 24 and 25.
We enjoyed glorious sunshine and fantastic diving, all from the shore of the beautiful Porthkerris Bay.
We even found time for not one but two night dives around Drawna Reef, with the striking jewel anemone amongst the highlights.
We plan two of three trips back to Porthkerris in 2010, it really is the best of British.
We'll keep you posted.
