Rewarding and fun – that best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level: Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the 5 confined (pool) sessions, you’ll cover:
To certify you as a PADI Rescue Diver you will then participate in a open water rescue scenario over 1 day, typically held at Stoney Cove or any other suitable open water in the UK or OS. You will also need to successfully complete a sanctioned First Aid program within the last 24 months. The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) courses meet these requirements. We run the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) courses on demand over 2 evenings from 6-9pm or 1 day fro 10-4pm. So, if you are a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation and are over 15 years of age (12 for PADI Junior Rescue) what are you waiting for!
