Rewarding and fun – that best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level: Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the 5 confined (pool) sessions, you’ll cover:
To certify you as a PADI Rescue Diver you will then participate in open water rescue scenarios to test these new skills in a realistic dive environment, typically over one day at one of our open water dive days either in the UK or abroad.
You will also need to successfully complete a sanctioned First Aid program within the last 24 months and if you don't have a suitable qualification our Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) courses meet these requirements.
So, if you are a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation and are over 15 years of age (12 for PADI Junior Rescue) what are you waiting for!
