Equipment Specialist

Any idea how your SCUBA kit really works and what to do to keep it in tip-top condition? Perhaps you’ve read the manuals (or perhaps not) but still don’t understand some of the configuration options? Whatever your motivation there is no substitute for a bit of hands-on training!

Run as a dry course over one evening this course will provide experience and certification in minor repair and adjustment of your kit. Just remember to bring it with you!

This course covers the following topics:

  • The theory, principles and operation of diving equipment.
  • Routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures, and equipment storage.
  • Common problems with equipment and recommended professional repair procedures.
  • Simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new equipment.

The minimum entry requirement is Open Water diver over the age of 10
